A comment on House considers doctor apologies for medical malpractice

I'm a newcomer in the community and from what I've observed I don't think an apology would do. If the hospitals would hire quality physicians and put best practices in place then they would not have to buy their awards.

As a person that is interested in quality care instead of "I'm sorry" it would be in their best interest. Especially since they have gotten sloppy in their hiring. I heard of a ob patient that almost bleed to death but it won't be looked at by quality, too "Political", I guess a doc of political power. One new hire, a specialist at St Alphons likes to be an expert witness for the prosecution. It would be interesting when she starts being a withness against the doc's that refer patients to her. The attorneys are going to love it!
